Whitfield a good while ago I sent you a picture of my old face. I don’t know whether you got it or not. If you didn’t let me know and I will send you another if you want one and if you can get a good likeness of your self without having it cost you more than it would be worth to me, I should be very glad to see it. I think of you and wonder if you are altered so I should not know you. 

I must give up all hopes of seeing your face among the living but I cannot give up hoping that I may meet you in the better world to part no more for this greatest of blessings. Let us pray and labor. O W, seek the Lord while he may be found that you may secure your own salvation and labor in the lord’s vineyard for the salvation of your friends and associates that you may spend your latter days in doing good and for the glory of God.
