Dear friend W.C

I was glad again to hear from you, more than for the handy $2 enclosed. Well, next month I shall mark let. and I begin to feel pretty old. I have always worked hard and find myself still poor and battling to win. Your railroad will of course make yours a great country and I will hope some day to call at Shuswap and see you. God bless you and all that are dear to us both.
